What has not been addressed is THC and the brain, which I will only introduce.
There is vanishingly little difference between the effect of THC and all of the legal antidepressants, anxiolytics and fr that matter opiates. Ys there is a difference, but the difference in the brin is not robust. Their action occur within a few millimeters of each other, often less than that, and with reverberant re-entrant circuits their actions are often remarkably similar.
This is particularly true in the adult human brain
