You should read "Mere Christianity" by C.S. Lewis who was an agnostic before
he turned Christian. He makes a very valid argument of how and why it is
insulting to claim Jesus was only a 'teacher.' He also makes a very good
argument for the historical accuracy of the life and times of Jesus Christ -
