A mojo is a small bag containing a variety of items used in a spell to
achieve a desired result (money, love, success, protection). The word
comes from the African American culture in the United States, and
probably has roots in an African word. Synonyms used in the Americas
are toby, hand, mojo hand, mojo bag, conjure bag, conjure hand, wanga,
packet, nation sack, etc. I have written a web page on the subject,
